It may be helpful to clarify two items that will normally be alluded to when making funeral arrangements, they are as follows:-
Professional Services
Our Professional Services comprise:-
- Removal of the deceased from the place of death
- Meeting with the bereaved family to arrange the funeral
- Providing professional advice and guidance
- Ensuring the necessary documentation is completed
- Care and preparation of the deceased
- Co-ordinating all aspects of the funeral
- Providing a Funeral Director and Bearers to staff the funeral
- Providing transport of the deceased to the funeral
- Facilitating viewing of the deceased, if requested
Disbursements
Disbursements are expenses paid out on the client’s behalf, for example, to the Crematorium or Cemetery, Minister, Organist and Doctors (in the case of a cremation), etc.
